Supply Management Survey

This free one-hour educational event will highlight the results of the recently-completed annual survey of supply chain executives done by Resources Global Professionals.  More than eighty Chief Procurement Officers and other high-level supply chain management executives participated in the 2011 survey.  Of the companies represented by the respondents, 80% are publically traded, and 66% have global or multinational operations.  The top priorities identified by the supply chain leaders responding the survey include reducing costs, strengthening supplier relationships and improving inventory management.  This web seminar will give you access to the current thinking on these and other topics by leaders in the supply chain management profession.

Your presenter will be Robert J. Engel, C.P.M., the Senior Practice Leader for Resources Supply Chain Management at Resources Global Professionals.  Mr. Engel has been in the supply chain profession for over 35 years, and was one of the original founders of The Procurement Centre, a supply chain management professional services company acquired by Resources Global Professionals in 2002.  He is a practitioner and a thought leader who has conducted training and continuing education seminars and workshops for both clients and supply chain management professional associations.

This will be a streaming-only presentation. You will listen to the presentation through your computer, using either the speakers or a headset.  You will be able to ask questions by typing them in the appropriate field during the presentation. 

Before the day of the event, you will receive an e-mail containing the URL to access the presentation.  The e-mail also will contain a link for you to use in testing your computer’s compatibility with the Microsoft Live Office platform.  Please be aware that, if you have not used this platform before, you may need to download software in order to access the presentation.
